StreamWert is an iOS app that manages every streaming subscription in one place and calculates the cheapest subscription combination for sports fans.
StreamWert is an iOS app for iPhone and iPad that manages every streaming subscription in one place, calculates cost per hour per provider and plans the cheapest subscription combination across the year for sports fans. The app costs a one-time $1.99 and contains no subscriptions, ads or tracking. Built by Kevin Weiler, an indie developer based in Ludwigshafen, Germany.
US households now spend well over $100 a month on streaming — spread across Netflix, Disney+, Max, Prime Video, Peacock, Paramount+ and more. StreamWert is an iOS app that brings structure to the mess: every subscription in one place, automatic cost-per-hour calculation across providers, and a sports planner that knows current broadcast rights (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, MLS, Formula 1, college sports) and calculates the cheapest subscription combination month by month. The app also includes a series planner covering more than 1,500 TV shows and 1,200 movies, plus saving tips for subscription rotation. StreamWert costs a one-time $1.99, runs offline-first (all data stays on device or in private iCloud), collects no analytics and contains no ads or in-app purchases. The app has been available on the App Store since early March 2026; an Android version is in development. StreamWert is built by Kevin Weiler, an indie developer from Ludwigshafen, Germany.
Story angles
Five angles that fit consumer, tech and sports coverage — pick the one that matches your outlet.
The $100+ monthly streaming bill
Typical US households now pay more for streaming than they ever did for cable. StreamWert calculates cost per hour, flags unused subscriptions and proposes concrete rotation plans.
Sports rights chaos — solved month by month
NFL is split across Peacock, ESPN+, Prime Video, YouTube TV and free-to-air. StreamWert maps every broadcast right and builds the cheapest combination per month — for any combination of leagues and teams.
104 games across three countries — where to watch
The first 48-team World Cup is hosted by USA, Canada and Mexico in summer 2026. StreamWert covers every broadcast option — FOX, Telemundo, Peacock — and helps plan around it.
Built by one person in Germany
No venture capital, no team, no marketing budget. Kevin Weiler built StreamWert because he was tired of spreadsheets for his own subscriptions — and priced it at $1.99 because the pain is the subscription fatigue itself.
Offline-first, no analytics, no ads
Every subscription, price and usage metric stays on device or in the user's private iCloud. StreamWert runs no trackers, ships no SDKs and earns only from the one-time purchase.

About the developer
Kevin Weiler
Kevin Weiler is an independent iOS developer based in Ludwigshafen, Germany. StreamWert is his first publicly released app and exists because he kept losing track of his own streaming subscriptions. The project runs without investors, without a team and without a marketing budget — development happens in evenings and weekends around a full-time job. The priorities that guide every design decision: privacy (no tracking, no analytics, no ads), one-time pricing and clarity for people who do not want to think about their subscriptions every month.
